Asked before
getting started.

Everything local business owners ask us first. If it is not here, ask and we will add it.

How much does a website cost for a local business?

There are two plans, and both include a website plus ongoing hosting, maintenance and support: Essential is £199 setup and £69 a month, for a professional website of up to 5 pages. Pro is £399 setup and £99 a month, for a larger, more bespoke website of up to 10 pages with a blog, enhanced local SEO, copywriting assistance and image sourcing. These are founding-client rates for new clients and may change in future.

What does the monthly fee cover, and can I cancel it?

The monthly fee is what keeps the site online, secure and looked after — hosting, SSL, backups, security and performance monitoring, and ongoing support, plus development time each month to make changes. It is not an optional extra: every website is built and run this way, on a 12-month minimum term, rather than sold as a one-off build with no ongoing relationship.

How many pages do I get, and what if I need more?

Essential includes up to 5 pages. Pro includes up to 10 pages, and additional pages can be added. If you are not sure how many you need, get in touch and we will map out the pages together before you commit to a plan.

How long does it take to build a website?

Most projects have an average turnaround of under 14 days from kickoff to launch, depending on the plan and how quickly content and feedback are provided.

Do you build websites with WordPress or a website builder?

No. Every site is 100% custom-coded rather than built on WordPress templates or drag-and-drop builders, which keeps pages lightweight and fast.

Do you offer local SEO for Google search?

Yes. Both plans include SEO foundations, Google Maps, and Google Analytics and Search Console setup. Pro adds an enhanced local SEO setup, and every plan includes ongoing SEO maintenance as part of the monthly fee.

What areas do you serve?

Tom Early Web Design is based in Northampton and serves local businesses across Northamptonshire and the East Midlands, including Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborough, Corby, Daventry, Towcester, and Milton Keynes, with in-person meetings available.
